About Prognosist
What we do
Prognosist is a free football-prediction platform for fans who want to understand the numbers behind the result. Every match preview combines historical performance, expected-goals (xG) modelling, team strength indices and bookmaker-market data to produce a transparent probability for each outcome — not a "lock of the day", a calibrated estimate.
Our angle
Most prediction sites tell you what to bet on and stop there. We show why: which markets the model thinks are mispriced, how confident it is, and where its blind spots are. Our Methodology page lists the exact data sources, model versions and backtest results.
You'll find:
- Match previews with AI-generated narrative + probability table
- Value-bet detection across 1X2, Asian Handicap, Over/Under and Both-Teams-to-Score markets
- Community tipster forecasts with virtual-coin tracking
- Team / league / country pages with form, schedule, head-to-head and tactical context
Virtual coins, not real money
Tipster activity on the platform uses an in-house virtual currency. The coins have no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for anything — they're a way to track prediction accuracy over time and surface the most reliable contributors on the leaderboard. We do not operate a real-money sportsbook.
Coverage
The model is calibrated on top European leagues — Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1 — plus a growing set of secondary competitions and international cups. Smaller leagues get lighter coverage and we explicitly mark predictions there as lower-confidence.
Who's behind it
Prognosist is built and maintained by a small team based in Central Europe. We come from a software-engineering and statistical-modelling background; football is the personal interest that put the project together. For press, partnerships or feedback, get in touch through our contact form.
A note on responsible use
Our content is informational, not financial advice. If you choose to bet real money on other platforms, please read our Responsible gambling guidance and set your own limits. Predictions can be wrong; bankrolls cannot be re-rolled.
